Sector Watches Review and Buying Guide

Five different Sector watch modelsSector watches are produced by the Italian company Sector No Limits which was founded in 1973 and are currently a private jewelry manufacturer, Morellato Group.

The main selling point of these watches are their large, hefty cases with dials that appear to have complex functionality. This complex looking watch face is however just a facade as they offer no more functionality other than timekeeping.

If you love watches that a large and bulky then the Sector brand is right up your alley. For some this bulkiness is a little too much, especially if their wrist is smaller so consider yourself warned.

The complex styling gives these watches a very sophisticated look that is applicable across a range of designs. They have ultra sporty/adventure style looking watches as well as classy casual and even expensive business style watches. Not many brands pull off a wide range of designs this well.

While they seem to be more popular with men, Sector also offers a good selection of uni-sex and womens watches.

Sector watches only feature quartz movements but at least the higher end pieces include Swiss quartz which means the accuracy of the watch is greater. Although the movement is not anything special, they do make these watches out of high quality, durable material so at the very least you get a watch that is difficult to break. This puts it well above most designer and fashion watches in terms of value.

One of the bigger downsides to these watches is the luminescence is not very good meaning that the watches are very hard to read in the dark or under water.

Based on the design you choose, these watches could be good for dress and business wear, active and sport wear or casual wear. Also, thanks to their durability, you can be pretty rough with them without a significant chance of a break.
